I am a 21-year old emerging artist living in Toronto.  I have studied art under my teacher/mentor Julie McMeekin, Director of ArteMbassy Gallery School since I was in middle school. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder. As I find language challenging, abstract expressionist art is my way of communicating my ideas and emotions. Art gives me the freedom to explore and express myself and that gives me great joy.

I use mixed media and fluid art to express myself.  My work is inspired by nature, animals, and the world as I see it. I love nature and going on walks in the beautiful parks we have in Toronto.  I get a lot of ideas from the trail walks that I take which I use in my paintings. I am a great animal lover and often include animals in my creations. Travelling to new places is also something I enjoy, seeing new things and environments and many of these find their way into my paintings too.

I work intuitively and respond spontaneously to colour, texture and the painted surface - pure and unaltered by preconceived ideas. . Recently I discovered the joys of fluid art which lets me indulge in my love of vibrant colours. The paints are poured on canvas, flowing and blending with different techniques. The joyful flow of colours tell their own story to each person who views them.
